(1936-1992)

Master Curtis Herrington

Master Curtis Herrington began his training in the Martial Arts in 1956 while serving with our armed forces in Korea. His original system was Chung Moo Kwan.

After returning to the U.S., he trained in Shorin-ryu Karate, Hapkido, Judo, Ju-Jitsu, and Ji Do Kwan Kong Soo Do, which became his main system.

In December of 1968, Master Herrington left his job as a Communications Specialist with NASA Houston and made the move to Cleveland, Ohio to teach the Martial Arts full time.
